Description:

Bulgarski Tanker Flot's 1953 Belfast built tanker HYDROPHANE was photographed passing Hoek van Holland, inbound for Rotterdam, on 22nd June 1970. She sailed on 25th June for Priolo (Augusta), Sicily.

1968: transferred from "Bulet" State Economic Enterprise of Varna; 1971: renamed LOM

LOM collided with MOZDOK on 13.1.72 during a ballast voyage from Bourgas to Odessa, exploded, broke in two and sank
