Best photo I've seen of this one, Emmanuel
MELITA X, along with IX and XI, were three former Sturdy-class tugs. Their former Sturdy numbers are not known.
STURDY 1-30 were built 1943-1945 for the Ministry of War Transport for naval service in the Mediterranean theatre by Nile Engineering Co, Cairo. Some were transferred to the War Office for Army service.

19xx sold to (Cassar Group?)
1982 still in service
19xx laid up at Jetties Wharf and subsequently sunk at her mooring (MLT)
19xx donated by the Cassar Group of Companies for reefing
16/5/1998 scuttled as diving site off Zonqor Point in the mouth of Marsascala Bay (along with ST. MICHAEL, ex TANAC 60)
