Description:

The London Greek company Hadjilias and Co Ltd, created in 1928 and based at Bury Court House, St.Mary Axe EC3, was in 1968 operating four ships named JUPITER'52 (ex STYLEHURST), NEPTUNE'54, ARTEMIS'62 (also ex- STYLEHURST) and the tanker MERCURY.

As STYLEHURST the ships' nominal owners were Grenehurst Shipping Co Ltd.

Here is the JUPITER, built by Swan Hunter on Tyneside and renamed in 1961, passing Hoek van Holland outbound from Rotterdam on 4th July 1970 following discharge of a cargo loaded at New Orleans.

JUPITER was laid up at Piraeus on 13th November 1976 and beached at Aliaga on 17th December 1984 for breaking.
