John Harker's 1951 Knottingley built tanker SOUTHDALE H is seen passing close to Battery Point, Portishead, exactly fifty years ago, outward from Avonmouth on 5th September 1969.

Thankyou Gentlemen. I am now advised as follows:
1980: Sold to Effluent Services Ltd, Macclesfield and stationed at Belfast.
4.1984: John Eastwood & Sons Ltd Belfast commenced demolition.

Equasis has her broken up during 04/1984.

I believe she was sold by Harkers and went to Belfast as a sludge boat about 1970 and not renamed, but not sure of here fate
