Description:

Nederland Line's 1956 P.Smit Jr., Rotterdam, built BATJAN is seen passing Hoek van Holland, outbound from Rotterdam, on 9th June 1970 during a voyage from Newcastle (NSW) to Hamburg via Durban. She subsequently loaded cargo for Beira.

She finally arrived at Alang on 24.3.83 for breaking.
