Shell-Mex & B.P.Ltd's 1956 W.J.Yarwood, Northwich, built coastal tanker SHELL ROADBUILDER is seen passing close to Battery Point, Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago, on 20th September 1969.

Later: 1970: SOUTHERNSTAN 1975: BURLESDON (Bowker & King) 1981: sold Gilyott & Scott, Hull then J.Hillment Marine

She was scrapped at Southampton in 1987
