Thank you all for your comments.

This scene needs a bit of explanation, as the category is not so straightforward. While this is indeed how an LNG tank looks like on the inside, this shows work in progress, that is, installation of the cargo containment system (CCS). The tank is of membrane type, meaning that it is supported by the ship's structure, and the scaffolding and stairs that can be seen are here because the installation of CCS is only halfway through. This fancy stainless steel plating is the secondary barrier, while the primary barrier (made of stainless steel with insulation blocks) is yet to be installed, as can be also guessed by those pins sticking out from the plating on the bottom.

You'll have to google to see the inside of a fully completed LNG tank, however, because me taking a photo of it would be equivalent to taking a photo of Melania T. in the shower. :)

Cheers

Vlad

Great shot Vlad, but I'm a bit puzzled.
Is this picture actually taken on board inside the tank with the steel structures on the sides and stairs as well?
Or is this one of their tanks in the making ashore?
Forgive me my ignorance, I've never sailed on gas-tankers.
Cheers,
Roy

Excellent shot Vlad. No wonder they are so damn expensive to construct.

I expect surveying an LNG tanker does OCCUPY a lot of your time, however, you are taking this ANONYMOUS thing to new levels..
hahahaha
