Harrison Line's 1951 Readhead, South Shields, built CROFTER is seen passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago today, on 6th October 1969 during a voyage from Hampton Roads.
Later: 1971 AGHIOS GEORGIOS - 76 SAN GEORGIO II - both Canopus Shipping S.A. (Andreas & George Kyrtatas) of Athens.
She was broken up at San Esteban de Pravia where she arrived in May 1977.
