Description:
BARRA HEAD was one of 3 bulkers built in Japan for the coal-trade on the British Isles. Delivered in 1980 to Chr.Salvesen of Leith, and is here seen passing Travemünde outward bound in july 1995. Salvesen's shipping interests had then been taken over by the Norwegian Jebsen group, who put this vessel under Irish flag.
In 1996 she was renamed HORDNES and in 2003 she became WILSON TYNE.
In 2017 she was sold to Moldova and renamed ALI S.
