Ex RNLI 47' Watson Class Lifeboat 1957. Civil Service No 31, ex Thurso Lifeboat , Mumbles until 1989 then Workington finishing service in 1991 and sold to private ownership. Other members of this class include the Longhope lifeboat T.G.B. which capsized on service 17/03/1969 with the loss of all hands [8] and the Penlee lifeboat SOLOMON BROWNE which was wrecked on 19/12/1981, with the loss of all hands [8] Brave Men.
