Walter Runciman's 1953 Hebburn (Hawthorn,Leslie) built GLENMOOR is seen passing Portishead exactly fifty years ago today, on 15th November 1969, outbound from Avonmouth during a voyage from Karachi.
She had been transferred to Anchor Line service on their purchase of Runciman.
Later: 1976: sold to Crossworld Fortune Sg Co Ltd of Hong Kong and renamed SAUDI FORTUNE
1981: sold to Lagoon Sg Lines Ltd, Bangladesh
She was beached at Chittagong on 28.1.82 for breaking
