In total 86 units were built at Stralsund from 1962 to 1966. Five trawlers were build for Bulgaria. The lead vessel was transferred to Ghana in 1965.
Vessels with y/n's 7002, 7003, 7004 were laid by VEB Neptun in Rostok, but comleted by VEB Volkswerft.
Also in 1965 at Stralsund for GDR were built two modified trawler "Stubnitz" and "Granitz".
Purpose of the vessel:
- pelagic and ground fishing
- production of frozen fish, fish meal
- transport of processed cargo to port
