Description:

-IMO#9192363- the post-panamax cruise ship entering Newport,RI anchorage,10-13-06. Ironically, I caught this ship the same day as I photographed Norwegian Dawn. Both vessels not long ago had severe incidents. Star Princess a massive fire, and Norwegian Dawn had a chance encounter with a 'Rogue Wave' straight to her bow.

I absolutly agree with the last poster, this is a lovely ship that I feel is more beautiful than the QM2.

I,m sorry but I have to get arguementive here. There is nothing wrong with the look of this ship. She is a lot nicer looking than some of the others I,ve recently seen.I would put her in a class with the QUEEN,s easily. :-x

Great shot Matt, must have had a good day with all the sun, thank you for your comment on the Atlantic Castle, she was having some kind of problems as she moored at the North Wall above Beauharnois.

Great angle of this huge cruise ship, its amazing how fast these ships are rebuilt after accidents.

Great shot of an....interesting...looking vessel. She called on Boston and I was out in the harbor when she departed at night...all the lights on this thing at night, at first I wasn't sure what to make of it. Then they identified themselves. I'd take a true ocean liner like the Cunard Queens over something like this behemoth anyday.
