Thanks Edson. Do you know what the story is behing all these anchor-handlers being laid up, pending scrap? Some are relatively young ships. Are/were they under arrest?

All the ships here are condemned to be scrapped.

I think that this is a lay up area, although some of the ships might eventually be scrapped. The tanker in the foreground "CHEM VIOLET" has been detained since 2016 for violating Brazilian cabotage rules and subsequently abandoned.
