Former Maritime Services Board (MSB) hopper barge at Sawmiller's Reserve, McMahons Point, Sydney. Washed ashore early 1960s & abandoned. These barges were used to carry dredged material out to the spoil dumping grounds off Sydney. They originally had an arched beam stem to stern to operate the bottom doors. This has been removed, presumably to stop children climbing on it.
