Thanks Juan Carlos. That would be bulk carrier ALGARROBO ex-JONANCY that was wrecked on the Muelle Barón, Valparaíso during a storm on 27 June 1963.
built 1915 New York Shipbuilding Corp, Camden NJ (Yd 165)
Naviera Chilena del Pacifico SA, Valparaiso (CHL flag)
Listed as still having a triple expansion steam engine- but perhaps diesel auxiliaries by then?

|I found information that the remains correspond to the ALGARROBO II, bulk carrier ship stranded in 1963..|

Are you sure about this being from an ANGAMOS? The first three in the Chilean Navy had steam engines - this looks like a diesel of 9cyl (or more if the right end is broken off) - but the fourth ANGAMOS had only 8 cylinders and was sold in 1993 to Greece, suffered a fire on delivery voyage as ARMONIA and was broken up at Piraeus the following year.

|The best solution, for cooling the engine!|
