Description:

M.V. Queen of New Westminster preparing to dock at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, south of Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Built by Victoria Machinery Depot and launched in 1964, she is the last of the original V class and B class ferries that once served as the backbone of B.C. Ferries fleet and B.C. Coastal transportation. (Note: One other B class ferry, the former M.V. Queen of Nanaimo is still running but in Fiji and owned by Goundar Shipping and named the M.V. Lomaiviti Princess V)
