Originally built as SPT CHAMPION (SPT means Scagen Petro Trans) for lightering operations in US Gulf. Davits on port side fitted for Yokohama fenders, bow thruster and ballasat pumps with more capasity to compare similar AfraMaxes.

After viewing the links provided by Bob & Jim I was looking at a photo I posted a few years ago in Gibraltar of the KWK EXCELSUS involved in a transhipment in the bay. Those struts weren't visible on her deck and she's huge. So I wonder why not all vessels have these.
