Description:

This dilapidated old vessels is, I'm told, the former Irish Naval Auxiliary "John Adams". Originally built for the Royal Navy in 1934 by Richard Dunston, she now lies on the River Torridge, near Bideford, Devon and was latterly used as a houseboat. Her condition is so poor, however, that she no longer floats on the tide. Photo taken 19/9/2004.
