Some videos of the accident were actually speeded up; allegedly what started as a mechanical/control problem, escalated with lack of communications.

In any case, the ships arriving in the port when I took this photo were approaching at a crawling speed...

Communications problem? Just looked like he was going way too fast......control system problem maybe?

Hi Roy,

The local info has it that there was a communication problem between the pilot on board and the tugs, in addition to some mechanical issues; of course, it's all but a speculation at this point.
