Yes, different ship indeed. I beg to differ about the Greek rebuilds. I like many of them. In this case, I like both the original appearance and the rebuild. My favourite Greek rebuilt ferries currently in service are DIAGORAS and ELYROS, both a step up from the original appearance.

Hi rd77, there was another SUN FLOWER built in 1972. (7117981) but that has only one funnel, as far as I could see from the only shot I could find of her.
As usual, the Greek treat greatly spoiled the appearence of this one.

To round off my comments: this very nice vessel was sadly beached for scrapping at Aliaga, Turkey on 24/1/'20 after a length y lay-up following the collapse of her last owners NEL Lines.

Hi Pieter, clearly the Sun Flower Sapporo by her looks and according to the registers she never carried the name Sun Flower. But the transliteration of the Japanese names on their vessels is sometimes a bit confusing indeed. If I hadn't known this ship, I would have been confused as well!

Hi Senda, nice shot as usual, just wondering whether she is the Sun Flower Sapporo, and not just the Sun Flower (imo 7117981). The Roman characters on the stern seem to confirm that.
