Built 1953 by Swan, Hunter & Richardson at Wallsend as LEDA for North Sea service of Bergen Line; 1979 she became Kuwaiti NAJLA; 1981 sold to Dolphin (Hellas) Shipping, Piraeus, and rebuilt to cruise vessel ALBATROS; 1984 she became ALEGRO and shortly afterwards ALBATROS again; 1985 renamed ALBATROSS; further names: BETSY ROSS (1988), AMALFI (1989) and STAR OF VENICE (1991); 2001 broken up;
