Description:

Brazilian Chemical tanker CHUY incoming at Europoort. Given that she looks brand new, the date could be somewhere in the middle of 1985, as she was delivered in May 1983 from the France Gironde yard in Dunkerque. She wears her original funnel marks (blue funnel, white/red/white band). In the background, left in the picture, the extension of the EECV ore terminal can be seen, which was done with the upcoming introduction of the Berge Stahl. (and other giants).

CHUY was sold in 1996, renamed LADY NIL and then again in 2003, when she became Lady Jasmine.
In 2011 she was broken up at Alang.

(NB, this is an improved version of an earlier shot, which received no comments, so nothing is lost)
