Pride entering Newcastle Harbour.
Pride was temporarily based out of Newcastle on charter to AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority), for salvage work at sea off Newcastle to recover sunken containers. The containers had been washed off the YM Efficency in a storm and the sunken containers were catching fishing trawler’s nets.
Pride was launched 29 March 2014 as Cecon Pride, but soon after changed name to Micoperi Pride for a charter. Name changed to Pride in Nov 2015. It was built in Canada.
