Thanks David ,had not seen this photo with the info.
So this was an ex HA minesweeper all wood and aluminium, I remember them quite well as an apprentice in the late 50 and early 60s at the local dockyard,amongst others there was the WALKERTON having spending some weeks working on her during my apprenticeship ,others I have since forgotten.

Surely she is a an ex-naval vessel such as a minesweeper converted to a yacht. Anyone got more info on her.

I have stayed in Dénia quite a few times. It's halfway between Valencia and Alicante. Valencia is a bit over an hour driving from Dénia.

Valencia itself merits a proper visit, too... :)
I took a high speed train from Madrid, just a day trip, and it was very worth it. It also felt that it was warm enough to swim in the sea, even in December (OK, not really, but still)...
