Description:
KORSUN SHEVCHENKOVSKIY, built at Lekkerkerk in 1943 as WILHELMSHAVEN, which was named EMPIRE DOUGLAS in 1945/6, served the Soviet Union's Estonian Shipping Company from 1946 until finally arriving at Bruges on 28.2.72 to be broken up.
KORSUN SHEVCHENKOVSKIY was photographed in the River Elbe departing westbound from the Kiel Canal at Brunsbüttel on 29th June 1971.
