Description:

Length over all 49.5 m; breadth 6.90 m; sail area 600 sqm;
built 1917 by C. Lühring, Brake, as LANDKIRCHEN; the hull was enlarged in 1921, and an engine installed in 1930; she sailed as freighter until 1979; in 1981 the owner changed and she was rebuilt as a cruising ship for the Caribbean, named GODEWIND; 1988 she was renamed SIR FRANCIS DRAKE under new ownership; lost in 1999 during hurricane;
the photo was taken during SAIL’86 in Bremerhaven; scanned from color slide;

Thanks, Steve. That was not easy. The photos on the facebook-website show many similarities with her, so that it should be GODEWIND. I did not find any other photos in the internet. I'll change the data.

According to the timelines given, she would have been Godewind. She must have changed from gaff sails to staysails when converted to SFD

At first i thought she looked like Grossherzogin Elisabeth, but the masts do no match. 2nd thought is the Sir Francis Drake, perhaps at the time under the name Godewind.
