Length overall 165.3 m; breadth 24.6 m;
built 1970 by HDW Hamburg for HAPAG-Lloyd, Hamburg, sailing between Northern Europe and the Far East; 1978 converted by Bremer Vulkan into container ship and renamed LEVERKUSEN EXPRESS; the original midship section was used for building the new BERTRAM RICKMERS (IMO 7904542); 1985 renamed CGM LORRAINE, and 1986 LEVERKUSEN EXPRESS again; 1990 she became POL BALTIC and 1995 MSC ANASTASIA; 2009 broken up;
the photo shows her as container ship in Bremerhaven (with unusual funnel colors) together with KÖLN EXPRESS (on the right; IMO 7502930); scanned from color slide;
