Thanks for your comments, Sophie and Roy. Just like a living being, enjoying life and all, until there's time to go... And in this case, at 22 years of age, there was still time until her next special survey. But she never got her scrubber, so there was that, she's gotten too expwnsive to operate...

Once, someone who has lived nearby the scrap yard told me that the vessel was fully lit up on the last night, like she was on her maiden voyage.
A little sad night, lappino.

Hi Vlad, what a surprise to see the Sine in the top-3 this morning......
Wonder how many of the S-class will make it to the breakers this year.

Didn't know this one had been sold for scrap as well. Still owned outright by Maersk and not renamed. 9,600 TEU and going to Aliaga.
