rebuilt as a replica of a Spanish 17th century galleon by 3 Germans (Volker Kochne, S. Tschoppe, H.G. Richter). It has taken a 9 years period. Was lying in a Norwegian fjord (Lofotenfjord)

11.1978 brought to Wilhelmshaven. They cleaned her and put 1236 cubic ft cement in her as ballast to ensure stability. In 1981 work was sufficiently progressed to allow installing the masts and EVERI sailed for the first time in June 1982.
It is said that 32000 workhours were needed to transform her. Length 148 ft, beam 23 ft, mainmast 98 ft and total sail surface 5812 square ft.
30.8.1983 arrive au Bassin Bonaparte à Anvers
Begin Feb 1984 badly damaged during very bad weather o/v Cartagena-Alicante. Towed back to Cartagena where she sank in the harbour. Will maybe been raised ? (faisant eau, avaries aux deux gouvernails et au moteur auxiliaire, un mât cassé).
Was on a 10 year world tour for SOS Children’s Charity (reported owner when she sank : Volker Kochne, Berlin).
