this is my 18000 posting ,last Saturday I was 75, will I get to pass 19k or at least 76?.....

The MONARCH after transferring crew to CELEBRITY INFINITY which is heading with them to Greece, is close to Aliaga,Turkey with presumably skelton crew. A sad day for ship lovers.
I got the only photos of her ,sadly before she took her last voyage.

Thank you Barry,it pleasure to meet you some time.My usual spotting/photography spot is Senglea Point on the shore beneath the bastion in the mornings. More or less alone now as my other friends have through some thing or another have refrained from coming down to the harbour....mind you we are or were all over 65 to 75 oldtimers.

Thank you my friend,The MONARCH has since left Malta after bunkering,This morning she was replaced by her sister,the SOVEREIGN at the same berth at Malta Freeport at Marsaxlokk bay. As to their next port, seems to be the scrapyard in Turkey according to certain web sites.
So presumably the SOVEREIGN will bunker and be on her way....scrapyard??...
