In 1974 this ship, then the S.S.France was in Quebec City. I went aboard for a guided tour. Very impressive ship.I was 15 years old at the time and I recall finding a pair of panties on the floor of an elevator. Maybe thats why I was so impressed!

Thanks for the comments. Actually I have noted only 1984, and I followed the rules to input '1' for month and day in case of not knowing more (knowing that it was in summer). I will update the data when returning home on Sunday.

My apologies gentlemen. I've just had to check my photographs, the cruise I took departed on 25th August from Amsterdam and returned to Amsterdam on 1st September.

Normal practice on this site is that, if you don't know the exact date of a photo in a certain year, you simply use Jan 01. I photographed NORWAY in the Blohm & Voss drydock in late August/early September 1984 and have just posted one of the shots from that date

Simply fabulous! Three quarters stern was the best view of France and that still applied when she became Norway.
According to the sailing schedule that I have for 1984 Norway did not arrive in Europe until 26 July in Southampton and 28th in Amsterdam. The schedule shows that she was due in Hamburg on 18 August but I was on that cruise, which had begun from Amsterdam and as far as I can recall it ended there too. On 1 January 1984 she would have still been in the Caribbean.
