Description:

Last bunkering for her final voyage, sadly to the breakers at Aliaga, Turkey to join other Corona victims on the beach.
She should have berthed at Marsaxlokk, but the port was changed to Valletta harbour.

I had never photographed this vessel before in Maltese harbours, but photographing her now on her way to the breakers, seems like seeing someone at the hospital who you just met, knowing that he is on his death bed.
These once proud vessels who sailed the seas filled with people enjoying themselves will soon be scrap metal for the furnaces of Turkish rolling mills.
