Description:

This Tug was phoptographed in Kolobgzeg,Poland in early 1986. My camera was low budget but he price for taking photos of military vessels in Poland at that time was high, if you were caught.

The ship was a former Polish Coast Guard tanker Z-1, build in american shipyard during II world war. After the war she was used by the border guard (part of the Polish Navy) as a patrol ship and later as a tanker. The photo was done in Gdansk -Westerplatte, not in Kolobrzeg !
