built 1911 by Blohm & Voss, Hamburg, for F. Laeisz, Hamburg; 1932 sold to Shaftesbury Homes and Arethusa Training Ship, London and converted into stationary training ship ARETHUSA; 1974 sold to J. Aron Charitable Foundation, becoming museum ship PEKING in New York; 2015 bought by Stiftung Historische Museen Hamburg; 2017 brought to Peterswerft Wewelsfleth, Germany, for extensive restauration;
the photo shows her during the return to Hamburg
