Launched 27 June 1957 at Wallsend by Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd. as hull no. 1883 for Hall Line Ltd. (Ellerman Lines Ltd.), Liverpool. 434' x 59'4" x 24'7.5;" 4945 gt, 2517 nt; 8-cylinder Sulzer Diesel, 720mm x 1250, 5600-bhp, built by G. Clark.

Later *Eurydice* (1979), *Mighty Spirit* (1981), and *Nirav* (1984). Broken up at Chittagong, 1984.

Shown at Navy Pier, Chicago, Illinois, USA, in October 1978.
