Airdraught op Marco Polo was abt. 60m, height of eye on bridge wing abt. 55m.

Pieter, you're totally right! Marco Polo was one of the first in the 400m-class. The latest additions, like HMM HELSINKI, 2nd-gen Maersk 3E and equivalent MSC-vessels are wider and much higher. Air-draughts of these vessels are around 70m! It's a significant factor in wind-loads during manoeuvring. In Rotterdam generally a limit of 7Bft is respected for manoeuvring with these vessels. If the wind is stronger, these ships have to stay alongside or are not allowed to come in.

Just to show how high the bridge of these super container ships rides over the water. The bulker is not a tiny one.
