A derelict Miss Clayton IV sits forlornly outside the village of Alexandria Bay, New York. Its location near the main highway and an attempt to cover it with plastic would suggest that perhaps someone is trying to make it into a display to lure tourists into the village (which is a great shipspotting spot on the St. Lawrence River in the Thousand Islands). Believed to have been formerly owned and operated by International Boat Tour Inc of Clayton, New York, a company that is no longer in business.

MISS CLAYTON IV was last documented as being owned by Combined 1000 Isles Boat Tours. They had previously operated her under the name UNCLE SAM VIII, and she was built in 1958 by and for Pilgrim Boat Tours Inc. Her documents (ON 276952) were last renewed in 1988, valid through 1991.
