Ian and John, you are correct, she's a very large ethane carrier (VLEC), with IHS is reporting her as an LPG carrier (but her design is clearly different from the "run of the mill" LPG tankers).

The technology of her construction is very similar to LNG tankers, however; this is why she ended up flooded in the typhoon, as she still had those large side openings left accessible in order to complete the insulation of her cargo tanks.

Correct John this vessel and her sisters are described as VLECs Very Large Ethane Carriers not LNG.

It seems that she was damaged by typhoon 05 Sept 2020, see link where she is described as an LPG tanker.
