SS "AMMONIA" is the only steam-powered railway-ferry in the world. Built 91 years ago, in 1929. DIM: 230,6 x 35,2 feet. 929,34 grt. 2 steam engines, totalling 900 HP gives speed up to 12 knots. In ordinary function as railway-ferry until 1957, then reserve for several years.
