I was her R/O from December 1965 to late May 1966. She was a tanker then. I never saw her as a bulker, so thanks for this. When joining the London Splendour in February 1970 I was told that the Tradition has suffered a major electrical fire on a voyage either to or from Japan and all the cooking was done on a barbecue on the boat deck. They were paid a bonus for the inconvenience. Ah! Nostalgia eh?
