The 1975 Kherson built 550 type research vessel MIKHAIL SOMOV, which was built the Soviet navy but from 1992 used for civilian purposes based at Archangel, from 2005 by Hydrometeorological & Environmental Monitoring, is seen passing Hoek van Holland inbound for Rotterdam in May 1992.
