There are no scrapping facilities at all in Piombino. I have heard that the owners (San Giorgio del Porto, a shipyard in Genoa) are still making their mind up what to do with her. They might just wait and see what the market does, like the Greek owner who bought six ships (Marios Iliopoulos of Seajets).
