Hi Marc,
you still keep suprising with coming up with excellent photos from years ago, which is my favourite. This nice photo shows the ANNA PRESTHUS as SWEDRU, a charter name, and she reverted to ANNA PRESTHUS afterwards. I photographed her in China in 1991 as EVER FORTUNE, and she looked to be in a good shape even then. I have always thought she was chartered to Elder Dempster when she was named SWEDRU, but now I'm not so sure anymore, as she is here seen in Canada, while Elder Dempster had their lines to more sunny Africa. Maybe they had a Canadian line also?
I am sorry I have never been into the St. Lawrence,I have been to Magdalena Islands and a lot to Pugwash and Canso-area when I was in Jebsens. I also had an uncle which owned a shipping agency in Chicago, but it's now sold.
Note the Lookout-tower in the foremast. Norwegian sailors could always see if it was an old ex:Norwegian they met on their way by looking at the foremast. This was a special requirement to all Norwegian newbuildings, and as far as I know no other nations had requirements about this.
Anyway; keep up your good work,Marc,

best wishes,
Arne
