KIMOLOS IV, operated by Sougerka Maritime of Piraeus, is seen berthed under arrest at Ellesmere Port on 15th January 2000.

Launched in 1980 by Caneco S.A. at Rio as CIDADE DE SAN PAULO, she was delivered to local owners as DOCECABO. Sold in 1992 to become JOTAERRI, she became KIMOLOS IV in 1996.

Sailing from Ellesmere Port later in 2000 as AYRTON, she was quickly renamed DODGE, and then in 2002 became TAERRI, at some point being fitted with deck cranes.

Sold to Turkey in 2003 she was renamed HATICE AKAR by her new owners Baki Denizcilik of Istanbul.

She finally arrived at Alang on 29th January 2015 for breaking
