The 1971 Nagoya built Freedom 1 type general cargo ship KATRINA I, only recently renamed and transferred to Cambodia registry, is seen at anchor off Limassol on 2nd September 1999 with a cargo of steel loaded at Iskenderun for the Middle East. She had been arrested by Admiralty Court action on 31st August and later on 2nd September shifted to a lay up area in Limassol port.

KATRINA 1 eventually sailed for Tartous on 11th October 2002.

It was reported that she reverted to the name MARWA M. in March 2005 but was deleted from the register on 6th May 2009 as her continued existence was in doubt.
