ORP Gen. T. Ko?ciuszko (273) - Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate of the Polish Navy, former American USS "Wadsworth" (FFG-9). The ship was built in 1977-1980 at the Todd Pacific shipyard and entered service with the US Navy on April 2, 1980. It was decommissioned on June 28, 2002, and on the same day it raised the Polish flag at the San Diego Naval Base in California as a gift from the US government. The ship became part of the 3rd Ship Flotilla. He served successively in the 31st Missile Squadron in the years 2002-2004, the Anti-Submarine Squadron in the years 2004-2010 and the Combat Ships Squadron, in whose forces he has been since 2011.

ORP "Gen. T. Ko?ciuszko” is a missile frigate whose main tasks include: searching, detecting and combating submarines, combating air and surface targets, as well as protecting sea communication routes and conducting anti-terrorist operations.
The hull of the ship is 135.6 meters long overall, and 125.9 meters at the waterline, the largest width of the ship is 13.7 meters, the draft of the hull itself is 5.8 meters, and with the sonar skirt, the draft is 7.5 meters. The unit with a displacement of 3,450 standard tons has a full displacement of 3,950 tons[7]. The ship is propelled by a power plant equipped with two General Electric LM2500 gas turbines providing an output power of 41,000 hp to a single propeller shaft, transmitting power to a five-blade propeller. The power plant configured in this way nominally provides a speed of 29 knots[8]. The ship is also equipped with an auxiliary propulsion system in the form of two retractable ABB electric propellers with a total power of 720 hp[7]. The ship's auxiliary propulsion is used for precise maneuvers of the vessel, however, it is capable of ensuring the ship's ability to return to port at a speed of 5 knots in the event of a main propulsion failure. The propulsion and energy system of the ship is supplemented by four diesel electric generators with a power of 1000 kW each [8]. The ship has two parallel hangars 12.5 meters long and 4.5 meters wide, in which two SH-2 helicopters can be based[
