Kirsten in the Hamburg Chicago Linie, it formed its own Great Lakes-Europe service, Michigan Ocean Line, in competition with Kirsten and Leo Adams, which had taken S & B’s place in Hamburg Chicago, which became Kirsten Lea Linen.

Note the family and dog strolling along the wharf; back then, there was no security whatsoever, and kids like I could stroll onto the docks and take such photos. Times have changed.
