I've seen yards in South Korea expanding from a container office to Microsoft style headquarters, only to disappear again in a couple of years. I guess Hyundai's success did not made them too greedy, so they remained a stable company (unlike SPP, Sungdong or STX)...

When I last visited Hyundai Mipo in 1987 it was just a shiprepair yard. Such has been the success of Hyundai Shipbuilding that it has expanded into the old repair yard
