Description:

DALNATI, built in 1991 at Krimpen a/d Ijssel and owned by Dala Rederi of Vastra Frolunda, Sweden, is seen arriving at Eastham on 20th February 2000. Already stripped of her deck cranes, in 2001 she was converted into a chemical tanker.

She was originally built as a small obo carrier, together with her three sisterships, for the account of Van Nievelt Goudriaan. Apparently the concept did not work out as hoped for, so all four ships were eventually converted to chemical tankers.
